The above puppy has been examined by a licensed veterinarian
and has been found to be free of defects and is current on his/her
vaccines and dewormings for his/her age. We strongly recommend
that the owner/buyer finish the complete series of vaccines to
protect above puppy against sickness and or disease. We also
strongly recommend above puppy be put on a once a month heartworm
preventative. Please take the following with you to your new puppy
exam: Vaccineand deworming record and veterinarian exam notes
from seller/breeder's licensed veterinarian.
Above puppy is a show prospect puppy with full registration. A
show prospect means at the time above puppy is sold it is within the
AKC breed standards to the best of the breeders knowledge. The
owner/buyer agrees to have above puppy examined by a licensed
veterinarian of their choice within 48 business hours from the time
of purchase or arrival. After having above puppy examined by a licensed
veterinarian of their choice owner/buyer agrees to send seller/breeder a copy
of the veterinarian's exam notes by registered mail signature requested. If
owner/buyer fails to have above puppy examined and does not provide a
copy of the licensed veterinarian's exam notes as stated above this contract
in its entirety will be null and void.
After expiration of the 48 hour guarantee a one-year congenital
health guarentee applies as long as the owner/buyer complies with the
above agreement. Congenital mean a defect that the puppy is born with
but was has gone undetected. Owner/buyer agrees to contact
seller/breeder at once and have the above puppy examined by a second
licensed veterinarian chosen by the seller/breeder at the breeders
expense within one year guarantee.
If two licensed veterinarians from two different practices agree that
the defect will greatly affect the above puppy's quality of life or cause
premature death. Seller/breeder will replace the above puppy with one
of equal quality when one becomes available. If above puppy expires due
to the defect owner/buyer agrees to have the defective puppy properly
shipped and or brought back to seller/breeder for necropsy within 24
hours period after death.
Defective puppy, signed licensed veterinarian's statement of the
congenital defect from owner/buyer's licensed veterinarian ,
registration papers, included but not limited to properly executed
registration papers. Transfer and late fees, (if any) required by the
issuing registry, must be returned to seller/breeder at the time
owner/buyer expense before puppy will be replaced.
Seller/breeder will refund the price of the puppy only. Shipping fees
will not be refunded if any. Owner/buyer will pay any additional
shipping fees.
Seller/breeder will not be responsible for any medical services
preformed by a licensed veterinarian, not authorized by seller/breeder
at any time. Guarantee does not cover the following, patellas, bite, size,
weight, color, parasites, heartworms, hernias.
The seller/breeder reserves the right to issue a full refund if
the seller/breeder feels a new puppy is in danger of contracting a
communicable illness, disease or could be subject to any other
conditions in which the seller/breeder is not comfortable. Owner/buyer
is responsible for any costs when returning the puppy.
Owner/buyer certifies that they are not licensed as a USDA licensee,
nor are they acting on behalf of a pet store, puppy broker. That the
above puppy is purchased for their own and not for resale. No other
warrantees, expressed or implied are made under this contract except
stated herein. We further agree that any claims that they might arise
from the sale will not exceed the purchase price of the above puppy
only (shipping not included). A written statement by the veterinarian
must be sent along with the claim.
Owner/buyer and seller/breeder agree that the contract will be
governed by the laws of the State of Texas and may not be altered,
modified or rescinded unless agreed to by both parties in writing.
